TTG CE4 Publisher now allows any text entered in templates created with TTG CE4 Autoindex or TTG CE4 Gallery (and any future plugins like Stage and CRG) to also appear in the published albums and album sets. That’s pretty cool.
And CE4 plug-ins now also support side bars. What this means is that you have a lot of options as to what appears on your pages. For instance, if you want to include ads or affiliate links in a side bar, you can now do this.
Adding things like banner ads to every page used to be job of phplugins. It still can be, but if you just need an ad in a sidebar, you can use the new TTG CE4 sidebars instead. Just create a Publisher template for the kind of page in which you want the ad to appear (an album set or album) and include the html necessary for the ad in the sidebar copy area.
You can see the results here on my CE4 test site.
